2. Your right of withdrawal (consumers in the EU/EEA)

If you are a consumer (i.e. you are acting for purposes that are outside your trade, business, craft, or profession), you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without having to give any reason. This right is granted by the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (SFS 2022:260) and the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), and equivalent rules apply in other EU/EEA member states for consumers resident there.

Withdrawal period: The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you (or a third party you have designated, other than the carrier) acquire physical possession of the goods. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

How to exercise the right of withdrawal: You must inform us of your decision to withdraw by an unambiguous statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. We will send you an acknowledgment of receipt of your withdrawal without delay.

3. Effects of withdrawal and return of goods

If you withdraw from the contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for any additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest. You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. We do not accept liability for the return shipment until the goods have been received by us. We recommend that you use a trackable delivery service and keep proof of posting.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling of the goods other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. In other words, you may try the product to the extent necessary to determine whether you wish to keep it; beyond that, the product should be returned in the same condition as received (e.g. unopened or only opened as necessary for inspection). If the product has been used beyond what is permitted for testing, we may deduct an amount corresponding to the diminished value from the refund, in accordance with applicable law.

4. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

Under EU and Swedish law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons if they have been unsealed after delivery. Food supplements (such as Balavita) that have been unsealed may therefore in some cases be excluded from the right of withdrawal once the seal has been broken, depending on the implementation in your country. We will inform you before you place an order if any such exception applies to the product you are ordering. If you are in doubt, please contact us before ordering. For sealed, unopened products, the full 14-day withdrawal right applies subject to the terms above.

5. Defective or non-conforming goods

If the product you received is defective or does not conform to the contract (e.g. wrong product, damaged, or not as described), you have statutory rights under Swedish law (and, where applicable, the law of your country of residence) to have the goods brought into conformity (repair or replacement) or to a price reduction or to withdraw from the contract and receive a refund. You must inform us without undue delay after you have discovered the defect or non-conformity, and within the time limits set by law (in Sweden, generally within two months of discovery and no later than two years from delivery for consumer sales, unless otherwise provided). We will handle your claim in accordance with applicable law and may ask you to provide photos or a short description of the defect. If we accept that the product is defective or non-conforming, we will, depending on the circumstances, arrange for return at our cost, replacement, or refund as required by law.

6. Returns from outside Sweden

If you are ordering from a country other than Sweden, the same principles of withdrawal and refund generally apply for EU/EEA consumers. Delivery and return costs may vary. You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods unless the product is defective or we have agreed otherwise. Customs or import duties paid by you on receipt of the goods are generally non-refundable by us; you may need to contact the relevant customs authority for recovery of those sums when you return the goods.

7. Refund method and timing

Refunds will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise with you. We will process the refund without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice (or, where we may withhold until we receive the goods, within 14 days of receiving the goods or evidence of return). Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account.

We may update this Return Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. The current version will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
